◉ CYBER EYES OS — PRIVACY POLICY
Cyber Eyes OS is a client-side terminal environment. We built it to keep your data on your device. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share personal information.
What stays on your device
- Everything you type in the terminal stays in your browser, except for the network features listed below that you explicitly invoke.
- Your tier unlocks, theme, preferences, and the SHIELD audit log are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you sign in (see below).
Network features you choose to use
Some commands need the network to do their job. When you run them, the minimum data required is sent to the third-party service that powers the feature, under that service's own privacy policy:
- Code compiling (
runfor C++, Python, Java, Rust, Go) — the code snippet you submit is sent to the Wandbox public compiler grid (wandbox.org) for compilation and execution. - IP lookup (
ip) — queries api.ipify.org, which sees your public IP address, to display it back to you. - Weather (
weather) — queries Open-Meteo with the coordinates you provide. - GitHub lookup (
github) — queries the public GitHub API for the username you enter. - Payments — checkout happens on Stripe-hosted pages (buy.stripe.com). We never see or handle your card details; Stripe's privacy policy applies.
- Download counter — tapping "Get the Android app" increments an anonymous download tally via the free CountAPI service (countapi.mileshilliard.com), which sees only that the button was tapped. No personal data is sent.
Sign-in (currently inactive)
The app contains sign-in code (Firebase Authentication) so operators can optionally sync tiers and audit entries across devices in a future release. It is not active: no sign-in data is collected or transmitted today. This policy will be updated before it is ever enabled.
Children
Cyber Eyes OS is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
